Currently, the program targets two occupations: 1) Nurse Aides, Orderlies and Patient Service Associates (NOC 3413), and 2) Early Childhood Educators and Assistants (NOC 4214).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program Advantages:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Low educational requirements for applicants;<\/li>\n<li>Low language requirements for applicants;<\/li>\n<li>Targeted at specific program graduates.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applicant Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Age: Between 21 and 55 years old<\/li>\n<li>Job Offer from a Nova Scotia Employer: Full-time, non-seasonal employment in designated occupational category in Nova Scotia. Currently targeted occupations: NOC 3413 Nurse Aides; NOC 4214 Early Childhood Educators or Assistants<\/li>\n<li>Language proficiency: CLB 5 (IELTS: Listening 5, Reading 4, Writing 5, Speaking 5; CELPIP: 5 in all four categories)<\/li>\n<li>Education: Completed at least 50% of a program of study in Nova Scotia leading to a nursing license or an early childhood education degree or diploma<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Process:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applicants who meet the requirements submit a Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program application.<\/p>\n<p>If approved, the NS Immigration Office issues a provincial nomination letter and, if required, a work permit support letter to the applicant.<\/p>\n<p>The applicant applies for permanent residency (applicants can also apply for a work permit at the same time and work in Canada after obtaining it).<\/p>\n<p>The applicant obtains permanent residency in Canada and successfully immigrates to Canada.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Program Description: The NS International Graduate (Semi-Skilled) category aims to attract recent international graduates from specific programs to settle in Nova Scotia.
