The eligibility requirements are relatively low. \u00a0In September 2019, the Saskatchewan government replaced the Occupations in Demand (OID) list with an &#8220;Excluded Occupation List&#8221;. If your occupation is not on the &#8220;Excluded Occupation List&#8221;, you may apply for any National Occupational Classification (NOC) 0, A, or B occupation that is not on the list. \u00a0Since July 2018, this program has been using EOI system to replace the previous &#8220;first come, first served&#8221; model. \u00a0Saskatchewan regularly issues invitations to applicants based on their EOI score and labor market demand.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Program Advantages<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No need to create a federal EE profile<\/li>\n<li>No job offer required<\/li>\n<li>Lower English language proficiency requirements (minimum CLB 4)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applicant Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Obtain at least 60 points out of 110 in the SINP point assessment grid<\/li>\n<li>Provide proof of English language proficiency at CLB level 4 or higher (IELTS 4.5 or higher)<\/li>\n<li>Complete at least one year of post-secondary education, training or apprenticeship equivalent to the Canadian education system<\/li>\n<li>Have at least one year of work experience in the past ten years in an education or training occupation, or in an NOC 0, A, or B occupation in Saskatchewan, or not on the Excluded Occupation List<\/li>\n<li>Have minimum settlement funds and a settlement plan<\/li>\n<li>Receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) from the SINP EOI system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Application Process and Processing Time<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a SINP EOI profile<\/li>\n<li>Wait for an ITA from the SINP EOI system<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and submit the SINP application for processing<\/li>\n<li>SINP approves the OID application (11 months)<\/li>\n<li>Submit a permanent residence application to IRCC<\/li>\n<li>Wait for IRCC to process the PR application (1-2 years)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Program Overview Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) Occupations in Demand (OID) is a non-Express Entry category program for international skilled workers without a job offer.
